It was between December 2025 and February 2025 that the teacher in Gothenburg taped the children's mouths. Some also received a Post-it note with a zero stuck to their foreheads as punishment.
"However, it has not been shown that the plaintiffs have been caused any pain or that the acts have violated the plaintiffs' peace in a noticeable way," the district court writes in a press release.
However, the court disagrees. The president of the court and a juror believe that the teacher's actions were reckless and that the teacher should have been convicted.
The charges involved nine children aged six to seven. The teacher, who denied any wrongdoing, was suspended and later dismissed from his post.
