The two young men, who are over 18 years old, were arrested on Sunday by the Gothenburg District Court. One of the men is arrested for murder, attempted murder, and serious weapons offenses.

The other man is arrested for aiding and abetting the crimes as well as offenses against the law on flammable and explosive goods.

It was things we found at his home when he was arrested, it has nothing to do with the other suspicions, says Åberg about the latter crime suspicion.

Both men have been arrested on probable grounds suspected of the various crimes, i.e., the higher of the two suspicion levels. The men deny the allegations.

The prosecutor describes the first week of the investigation as "super-intensive".

Now we will gather ourselves in the coming week and lay out an investigation plan, what measures will be taken, says Åberg, who does not expect to be able to bring charges before the summer.

The man who is arrested suspected of murder is known to the authorities since high school age and has previously been convicted of, among other things, weapons offenses and assault, writes GP.

It was on Monday, just before midnight, that two men in their 20-25 years old were shot in connection with a parking lot. They were taken to the hospital where they later died. A third man, who is in his 30s, was shot at but not hit. One of the police's theories is that the shooting has a connection to a long-standing gang conflict in Biskopsgården.
