The Book Fair in Gothenburg is betting on smaller, niche publishers. In the new exhibition area "The Large Garden", niche literature, published mainly by smaller publishers, gets a common space of 300 square meters.
"'If I had a large garden, I would invite all my siblings there'. It's a line from a poem by Edith Södergran that inspired the name 'The Large Garden' – a common space where niche literature, its publishers, and readers can meet", says Johan Kollén, editor at the Book Fair, in a press release.
The stage program in "The Large Garden" will be presented after the summer.
The Book Fair takes place on September 25–28.
