Google to invest 13 billion euros in Finland data center expansion

According to the newspaper, the investment, worth 144 billion kronor, is the largest foreign investment in Finland to date.

The investment will be made over the next two years and involves digital investment in AI infrastructure, developing the technology and expanding operations.

Google also intends to invest in the production of renewable energy.

Three new data centres are planned. They will be located in the Finnish locations of Kajaani, Valla and Muhos.
