Joakim Larsson, communications manager for Google Sweden, confirms the appeal to TT.
"We do not share the court's assessment," he writes in a comment.
Klarna is also appealing the verdict. It does not believe that the record damages reflect the damages caused by Google, Klarna's chief legal officer Boudien Moerman writes in a comment to TT.
The damages were awarded on July 1. The court found that Google - despite measures following a decision by the European Commission in 2017 - continued to abuse its dominant position in the price comparison market and favored its own price comparison service at the expense of Pricerunner.
