He will participate in the entire training session on Friday.

That's the idea. There are no guarantees, but that's the idea, says the national team's press officer Petra Thorén.

Gudmundsson missed training on Tuesday and Wednesday due to illness.

When did he come out of isolation?

He had a start-up training session, you could say, on the day off (Thursday), the national team's press officer told Swedish media on site at FC Dallas Stadium.

Gudmundsson is set to start on the left of the defensive line. The 27-year-old Leeds player has had a strong season in the Premier League and put in strong performances in the play-off matches against Ukraine and Poland.

Sweden's World Cup opener against Tunisia will be played on Monday morning at 4:00 AM.
