The album is preceded by a single with the same title, which will be released on January 12.
"It's a song that reflects on humanity in the year 2025. It's about accepting who we are and what has led us here, because the past cannot be changed," says González in a press release.
On the album, he reflects on the present and a world with increased tensions. The sound is characterized by acoustic-based songwriting.
On April 13, José González will begin a US tour, followed by gigs in Europe and Sweden this summer and fall.
