On Thursday, Truls Möregårdh's 102-game winning streak in the table tennis league was ended by Jon Persson, whose Söderhamn forced a decisive final.
But there was jubilation in the end for Eslöv, who secured its 16th Swedish Championship title.
Möregårdh took revenge and beat Jon Persson.
"I'm also human. The loss came as a surprise and I wasn't prepared. I was much more motivated today and reached a high level," says Möregårdh.
Eslöv's gold team also includes Vladislav Ursu, Shoma Nishihara, Alex Naumi and Martin Friis.
Now a golden party awaits - but the star doesn't know what it will contain:
"I didn't mean to jinx it. It will be what it is."
