The price of gold is back above $4,900 per ounce with an increase of almost 6 percent, while the price of silver is up almost 10 percent to $87 per ounce.
The dollar is simultaneously being pushed down on the foreign exchange market to 8.92 kronor per dollar. This compares with a peak of 8.99 kronor per dollar on Monday.
