Johanna Rytting Kaneryd could only laugh after her 3–1 goal against Brighton. A goalkeeper's return after Lucy Bronze's shot bounced up onto the Swede's leg – and into the goal without Rytting Kaneryd barely having time to react.
It was not her most beautiful football goal in her career, but it contributed to Chelsea being able to win 4–2 and take their ninth consecutive victory in the Super League.
Even national team colleague Stina Blackstenius found the net, in another part of London. Blackstenius started on the bench and only had time to be on the pitch for ten minutes before she scored Arsenal's 3–0 goal against Aston Villa. Arsenal won the match 4–0.
