The goal king and national team star previously represented the club between 2009-2014 and 2015-2019. During those seasons, he scored 671 goals - 29 fewer than the club's top scorer, Magnus Muhrén, who scored 700 goals.
The club announced that Edlund can wear the black and white shirt again thanks to financial support from many sources, including supporters.
"I can only say that I am so happy and grateful that supporters started a fundraiser and made it possible for me. I just want to thank you from the bottom of my heart," Edlund says in a statement on the club's website.
