The Swedish junior crowns are showing good form ahead of the JVM with a victory in last night's rematch against Switzerland, 7–3.

Things got heated at the start of the second period. Within almost four minutes, four goals were scored - three of which were for the Swedish team.

Eddie Genborg and Anton Frondell each scored two goals during the match, while Jack Berglund, Ivar Stenberg and Leo Sahlin Wallenius each scored one.

The result means that the junior crowns enter the championship with two wins and one loss from the regular season, as the Swedes previously won and lost a match against Canada.

Once the World Championships get underway, Sweden will play in Group A and will face Switzerland, as well as the home nation USA, Slovakia and Germany.

The championship begins for the Swedish team in Minnesota with a match against Slovakia on Boxing Day.
