American car giant General Motors made a profit of $12.7 billion last year. This year, profits are predicted to be up to $2 billion higher, with increased dividends to shareholders.

Adjusted operating profit is expected to be in the range of $13-15 billion for the full year 2026, equivalent to SEK 120-135 billion.

The new forecast is based on increased sales of the larger models and decreased sales of electric cars.

Results for the fourth quarter were also better than stock analysts had expected.
