The client is the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority and the project involves work in Boston, Cambridge and Somerville.
"The project includes replacing existing bascule bridges from the 1930s with new vertical lift bridges, upgrading access structures, constructing a new control facility and supporting a new platform at North Station," Skanska writes.
In a separate press release, Skanska writes that it has received an order worth approximately SEK 2.8 billion for the renovation and expansion of the University of New Jersey's computer science center.
