The Linköping band leads the nomination field with their six nominations, two of which are in the major categories of album of the year and artist of the year.
Viagra Boys also have a good chance of taking home several awards at the gala, which will be held on April 29 at Annexet in Stockholm. At the P3 Guldgalan earlier this year, the band received the award for artist of the year. Viagra Boys are also nominated for the Grammy Awards in that category, as well as in three other categories.
Close behind are Anna von Hausswolff, the duo Biji and Lisa Nilsson, with three nominations each. The category for newcomer of the year includes names such as Ida-Lova, Fanny Avonne, Biji, Nektar and Gothenburg phenomenon Valter Nilsson.
