The countries' foreign ministers write in a joint statement that "the focus must continue to be on achieving a permanent ceasefire, that all hostages are released and that Gaza is flooded with emergency aid to stop the starvation".
The countries demand that the UN and aid organizations can work in a safe environment throughout the Gaza Strip, including the northern part, where the city of Gaza is located.
"We urge an immediate stop to Israel's military operation in the city of Gaza", they write.
The countries also condemn Israel's attack on Hamas' political leadership in Qatar on Tuesday and accuse Israel of having violated Qatar's sovereignty and risked escalating the war in the region. They also remind in the statement that Qatar plays an important role in the talks between Israel and Hamas.
