S&P Global's purchasing managers' index for the manufacturing industry in Germany came in at 50.3 in June, slightly higher than the preliminary estimate of 50.0.
The corresponding index for France was revised up to 51.2, compared with the preliminary figure of 50.7.
An index reading above 50 indicates increased activity in the sector.
