Lotass receives the prize for the book "Cathedral" and is awarded 100,000 kronor.
"For a poem that gathers the words into a vertical cone of light through centuries and spaces. A poem whose wind-driven, murmuring voices sink and rise to the present and where everything is both clear and unfathomable, as if in anticipation of miracles or timeless stillness," reads the citation from Albert Bonniers Förlag.
The Gerard Bonnier Poetry Prize was established in 1978.
