”The people in Gaza desperately need more help and we are ready to cooperate with other humanitarian groups to extend our reach to those who need help the most”, said John Acree, acting CEO of GHF in a statement.

During the past few weeks, a large number of Palestinians have been shot dead and even more have been injured at or near the organization's distribution sites in Gaza.

A number of witnesses on site have pointed out the Israeli military (IDF) as responsible for the shooting. IDF has previously admitted to having fired ”warning shots” at people but denied being behind the extensive killing.

GHF has three distribution centers and began its efforts to distribute emergency aid in Gaza at the end of May, after the UN and other established organizations were shut out.
