In line with hopes of imminent peace in the Middle East, the price of oil on the world market is falling. So are the prices of gasoline and diesel at gas stations.
Diesel will be 25 öre cheaper on Monday and gasoline 15 öre, according to the chains' corporate prices, which also set prices for private motorists.
The new gasoline price for private motorists will be around 17 kronor per liter, while diesel will be around 19.50 kronor per liter. Over the past couple of weeks, prices have thus fallen by just over 2 kronor per liter. This compares with levels of about 15 and 17 kronor per liter, respectively, before the war started on 28 February.
