Three people are being treated for serious injuries after a gas explosion in a building in the Puente de Vallecas district of Madrid, according to Spanish media.
Two others are described as "potentially" seriously injured.
A total of at least 25 people are reported to have been injured in the explosion, which occurred at 3 pm on Saturday in a premises located in connection to both residential buildings and a bar, writes El País.
In a video posted by the rescue service on X, extensive destruction can be seen inside the bar. Doors have been blown off their hinges and shards of glass are scattered out on the street.
