According to NME, Oldman recites the poem "Twas the night before Christmas" as the character Jackson Lamb, set to images of – anonymized – security agents at the headquarters in London. The 19th-century text has been updated to include the clicking of "hundreds of keyboards" and security officials "ending their shifts".

"At MI5, we decided this Christmas to skip the traditional turkey in favor of some lamb – Jackson Lamb", writes the security intelligence service, which has given the clip the title "A Christmas story from MI5".

Season four of "Slow Horses" premiered on Apple TV+ in September and season five was filmed last autumn.
