Gary Glitter, whose real name is Paul Gadd, appeared in court on Wednesday and denied sexually abusing two underage girls. The offences allegedly occurred between 1978 and 1981, when one of the girls, who lived in the same neighbourhood as the artist, was between eight and 12 years old.
Paul Gadd, who was one of Britain's biggest stars during the 1970s, was sentenced to 16 years in prison in 2014. Even then, he denied any wrongdoing.
