The gang member, who is 21 years old, was reportedly arrested in a house in Sitges, Spain. Last spring, he was put on Europol's "most wanted" list, wanted for, among other things, instigation of and aiding and abetting murder, attempted murder, weapons offences and explosions.
In Sweden, he is being held in absentia on suspicion of several serious crimes, and there are a number of preliminary investigations against him.
The 21-year-old is said to have been a member of the top echelons of the Stockholm-based Dalen network for several years. He is suspected of having been in Mexico with the network's leader before he was arrested in October 2025.
The police do not want to comment on the information about the arrest to SVT News.
