Much suggests that the police chief in question was Christoffer Bohman, then the local police area chief in Sollentuna, he himself states in an interview with the channel.
Shortly after he was reached by the police's intelligence information, a sharp car bomb was found in a bag, as well as an automatic weapon and a key to a newly stolen car.
So the fairly sharp information about this planning, together with what was found, made us take it extremely seriously, says Bohman to the radio.
This led to a special event within the police, called "the wall".
It was extremely tough, and it was tough not to show it. Because I was like the highest chief and had like a mantra that we don't back down, we never give up, and then you feel like the world is shaking under your feet, says Christoffer Bohman to the radio.
No one has been arrested or prosecuted for the suspected murder plans. According to Bohman, the event was a contributing factor to him quitting as police chief in Sollentuna, to instead take a position within the police in Eskilstuna.
It's clear that this event changed quite a lot for me. I can still feel discomfort about what happened, and above all that it never got a conclusion.
Christoffer Bohman left the Police Authority last year and now works in crime prevention in a civilian position.
