This spring, a large shipment of cannabis was discovered at a transport company in Södertälje. Customs kept the man who received the cargo under surveillance and arrested him a little later at a warehouse in Huddinge.
After mobile phones and tracking devices were found in the storage room, more people could be linked to the gang, which is based in Spain.
The gang is said to have handled 110 kilos of cocaine, 104 kilos of amphetamine, and 437 kilos of cannabis.
The ringleader is sentenced to eight years and four months in prison for a particularly serious drug offense. The other four are sentenced to prison terms ranging from two years to six years and ten months. Some of the convicted will also be deported after serving their sentences.
