A total of 47 individuals and clubs are at risk of disciplinary action, the Czech Football Association announced. These include top-flight club MFK Karvina and the city's mayor, Jan Wolf.
According to federation chairman David Trunda, the investigation began several years ago, after the federation itself alerted the police about suspected match-fixing and bribery.
The incidents are said to have taken place in the top four leagues and possibly also in youth tournaments, local media reports.
