Tennis veteran Gaël Monfils, 38, fell against the American Alex Michelsen in Stuttgart's ATP tournament and was exposed to racism in his social media. Afterward, the Frenchman countered the attacks.

It's 2025 and you're still judging me for my skin color? I know I'm beautiful. Open up some books, the time for racist insults is over and you need to get it out of your heads, said Monfils in a video on his Instagram.

Even Monfils' family was subjected to racist insults on social media.

Leave my family out of it. My mom and my wife. They don't need to be dragged into this.

Monfils has won 13 ATP tournaments and was previously this year historic when he knocked out Roger Federer as the oldest ever to win an ATP title.
