Norwegian Crown Princess Mette-Marit and former Norwegian Prime Minister Thorbjørn Jagland should comment on the extent of their connections to the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, according to Norway's Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre.
"They have to answer for themselves and they should clarify the matter. I expect them to do so. They have shown poor judgment in the contact they have had," he told the press during a conference in Oslo on Monday.
On Friday, the US Department of Justice released more documents from the Jeffrey Epstein investigation. The documents included communications involving Crown Princess Mette-Marit and former Prime Minister Thorbjørn Jagland.
Norwegians who have connections should explain the extent of those connections, Jonas Gahr Støre says.
