It's moments like these I've missed, he says at a press conference, reports Aftonbladet.

In the last period of the match between his Colorado Eagles and Henderson Silver Knights, Landeskog brought the puck to John Ludvig, which meant reducing to 2–3. A few minutes later, Landeskog himself scored the equalizer 3–3, Landeskog's first goal in 1,027 days.

The goal also took the match to overtime, and even penalties. The Eagles eventually won the match 4–3.

It feels fantastic, really fantastic. The best thing isn't necessarily scoring goals or points, but it's being part of this atmosphere, says Landeskog.

Landeskog is on loan from the NHL club Colorado Avalanche to the AHL club Colorado Eagles as part of the rehabilitation after the knee injury.
