Amid all the injury headlines ahead of Sweden's World Cup playoff against Ukraine on March 26, there is also positive news:
Left-back Gabriel Gudmundsson played a large part in Leeds' advance to the quarter-finals of the FA Cup.
First, he set up Sean Longstaff for a beautiful opening goal, with Longstaff meeting the cross and half-volleying it in to make it 1-0.
Then Gudmundsson scored, prodding in to make it 2–0 with his left foot from close range minutes before halftime.
It was the former Halmstads player's first goal for Leeds after his transfer from French side Lille before the season.
The quarter-finals will be played on April 4-5.
