This is an increase of 4.2 percent compared to the same quarter last year.
"Total fund assets are at a new record level after surpassing the previous peak from the turn of the year during the past quarter," says Malcolm Svensson Rothmaier, economist at Statistics Sweden's Financial Market Statistics section, in a press release.
The funds' investments in shares increased by 5.3 percent in the last quarter.
