Frölunda Dominates Djurgården 11-2 for Fourth Consecutive Win

Frölunda's winning streak continues. Nine different goal scorers handed out an 11–2 thrashing away against Djurgården and secured their fourth straight three-point win. Talk about a tasty start to the SHL season. We have a good balance and rhythm in the game, says Henrik Tömmernes.

Djurgården's Magnus Hellberg stopped one chance after another for a long time – but it only took one mistake for Frölunda to break the zero.

Hellberg deflected Erik Thorell's breakaway and thought he covered the puck. He did not.

I see that Thorell is free and then I think it can be a rebound. I go towards the goal and then it bounces out. It was clever, says Filip Cederqvist to TV4 Play about the leading goal after 17.31.

71 seconds later, Max Friberg whipped in 2–0, a lead that Filip Hasa, Henrik Tömmernes, Jacob Peterson, Jere Innala, Max Lindholm, Linus Högberg (2), Friberg again and Theodor Niederbach steadily expanded.

Albin Grewe and August Berg scored for Djurgården.
