Färjestad's star veteran Per Åslund, 38 years old, was knocked down and lay on the ice in the away game against Leksand.
Åslund collided with Leksand's Patrik Zackrisson in the second period and lay down. He received medical attention and was able to get up and be led off the ice.
A really scary situation, of course, we got the message that he was okay considering the circumstances. It's a collision and it's really unfortunate, says Färjestad's Viktor Lodin to TV4 Play.
Färjestad fell behind 0-3 but turned the game around and won 4-3 after penalties.
Oskar Steen decided the penalty shootout with his second goal of the evening.
