”My vision of a living theater house, a place where culture, food, bar and music are crowded and where a challenging repertoire takes place, is implemented", says Frida Röhl in a press release.
Frida Röhl is one of Sweden's most profiled theater managers and came most recently from Teater Tribunalen in Stockholm when she became artistic director of Folkteatern in 2014.
Under her leadership, the theater has among other things put up ”Hamlet”, ”Dogville” and ”Romeo and Julia”, the latter in Frida Röhl's own direction.
”My decision to leave after this period has grown over time. It is not an easy decision, I love Folkteatern, but it is important not to rigidly hold on to a position", says Röhl according to the press release.
