This year, scholarships from the copyright organization STIM total four million kronor. The idea is that the scholarships will give music creators better opportunities to develop ideas and “deepen their creativity.”
Other well-known names on the list of scholarship recipients include Gustav Ejstes from Dungen and Amason, Petter Lagerlöf from Terra, and Thea Gustafsson from Becky and the Birds.
STIM scholarships have been awarded since 1925. This year, the scholarships are worth 25,000 or 50,000 SEK.
