The work “Woman's Head” is a gouache painting from 1941. It depicts the artist's mistress and muse, the French artist Dora Maar.

The winner, Ari Hodara, a 58-year-old engineer and art lover from Paris, reportedly bought his ticket over the weekend after hearing about the lottery by chance.

The charity lottery "1 Picasso for 100 euros" was held for the third time and raised money for research into Alzheimer's disease.

In 2013, an American firefighter won the painting “Man in an Opera Hat,” painted by Picasso in 1914, and in 2020, an Italian accountant won the oil painting “Nature morte” from 1921. The proceeds were then donated to other charitable causes.
