Only days after Häcken player Jeremy Agbonifo was recruited to the French top club Lens, he scored his first goal. It's really incredible, he says to Expressen.

On Wednesday, the transfer from Häcken to Lens became official. On Friday, the 19-year-old right-back scored his first goal - after just one minute on the pitch.

The French top club RC Lens has recruited Agbonifo in a loan deal with a purchase option. According to Expressen, it includes a mandatory purchase option of approximately 80 million kronor.

The Swedish U21 national team player got a top start in his new club. In Friday's match against Montpellier, he was substituted in at 1-0 and scored a goal after 60 seconds.

Lens has established itself as a top team in Ligue 1 in recent seasons, with a second-place finish in 2022/2023 as its best result.

Jeremy Agbonifo has his background in BK Häcken and has been with Porto FC for a while.
