The ship is nuclear-powered, and the visit has been carefully prepared by Swedish authorities, including the Swedish Radiation Safety Authority, SVT News reports.
Previous visits by American and British aircraft carriers to Sweden took place in 2022 and 2023, the Swedish Armed Forces wrote in a press release.
