French navy seizes 4.25 tons of cocaine from Central American ship in South Pacific

The French navy has seized 4.25 tons of cocaine from a ship in the South Pacific, officials say.

The ship was from Central America and was believed to be en route to South Africa.

The cargo was destroyed at sea, officials told AFP.
