Kavinsky, or Vincent Belorgey as he was actually called, was found dead in his home on Tuesday.
He is best known for the song "Nightcall", which he produced and which was included in the soundtrack to the 2011 film "Drive".
An investigation has been launched to determine the cause of death, as no suspicious circumstances were found at the scene, the prosecutor's office said.
Kavinsky performed during the closing ceremonies of both the 2024 Paris Olympic and Paralympic Games.
