The initiative is being undertaken together with Swedish Ecodatacenter, which is owned by the real estate company Areim.
"We will invest 1.2 billion euros (approximately 12.8 billion SEK) to build a 23-megawatt capacity," Mistral's CEO and co-founder, Arthur Mensch, told the newspaper.
"We would like to expand further in Sweden. This is the beginning of our journey here, and we want to reach the business community in the Nordic region," he added.
The new center - which is expected to have "a few dozen" employees when it goes into operation - will be established in premises that previously belonged to the bankrupt battery manufacturer Northvolt.
