The accident occurred on Saturday afternoon local time. More than 20 people were injured, according to the city's disaster management authority.
Video footage of the incident shared on social media shows a line of vehicles stopped at a railway crossing. Suddenly, a freight train came along and hit the bus at the front, dragging it along. Several other vehicles were dragged along the tracks before the bus was engulfed in flames and motorcycles and their riders were thrown to the side.
Video taken later shows rescue workers walking inside the burned-out bus.
