Freelance photographer Jens Olof Lasthein has won this year's Lars Tunbjörk Prize. The jury describes him as a master of panoramic photography who portrays the ever-present drama of everyday life with "curiosity, courage and a distinctive gaze."
Jens Olof Lasthein was born in 1964, raised in Denmark, and lives in Stockholm. The prize of 50,000 kronor is awarded to a photographer who works in the spirit of Lars Tunbjörk.
