The author and cultural writer Anita Goldman receives the Torgny Segerstedt Freedom Pen award.
"For she – like Torgny Segerstedt – with courage, deep knowledge, and a strong humanistic foundation challenges ingrained conceptions and thereby shows that a better world is possible", the jury believes.
The pen is presented at the University of Gothenburg in connection with Torgny Segerstedt's birthday on November 1. Last year's winner was Ola Larsmo.
