Federley, who is training to be a priest, is on place 9 on the list in the election to the Church Assembly in Västerås diocese.
Right now, I'm devoting my time to theological studies and to my job in Säterbygdens parish. But I have a decent experience of democratic work, of the non-profit sector and also of the Church, so it's probably good to make use of the experiences I have, says Fredrick Federley to the newspaper.
Federley, who previously was also the second deputy party leader for the Center Party, left politics in December 2020 after it emerged that he had a relationship with a person convicted of serious sexual offenses against children.
Earlier in April, Federley was proposed as a new member of the party's district board in Dalarna.
