The away game against Norway looked for a long time to be heading for a draw – but during the last quarter, two straight goals from France came through Sandy Baltimore and Clara Mateo.

Victory 2–0 and now clear group winners after winning four matches out of four possible.

Emillie Woldvik, Rosengård, started the match for Norway and Cathinka Tandberg, Hammarby, came on from the bench.

Otherwise, it was a goal-rich Nations League round on Tuesday evening.

Sweden's upcoming opponents in the European Championship, Germany, turned the game around and beat Scotland 6–1 at home – after falling behind early.

Spain also pulled off a crushing victory over Portugal, with a whole 7–1.

This means that Spain took command of the group as England suffered a shock defeat away to group bottom Belgium, 2–3.

It was Belgium's first point after three straight losses.

Spain leads the group two points ahead of England.

The group stage concludes at the end of May–June.
