A 39-year-old man is convicted in Svea Court of Appeal for having controlled a comprehensive narcotics and arms trade in Sweden from Serbia.

In the spring, he was sentenced in the district court, despite his denial, to eleven years in prison for, among other things, extremely serious narcotics offenses and serious arms offenses, and the court of appeal makes no changes to the sentence.

The man is said to have belonged to the top layer of the criminal network Foxtrot. He handled the contacts in Sweden through chat messages in encrypted services, where he went under aliases such as "Rambo", "Van Damme" and "Papa Smurf".

He was arrested in the fall of 2023 by police in Belgrade and extradited to Sweden in December last year after a prolonged process.
