Four Sentenced to Prison for Taking Girl Abroad Against Her Will

Four people are sentenced to prison since a teenage girl was taken abroad against her will. According to Växjö district court, there was a clear honour motive, reports P4 Kronoberg.

The girl was taken away in May and was found just over a week later in Austria. Those who are now convicted have family ties to her. All of them deny the crime, but three of them are convicted of unlawful deprivation of liberty and assault and the fourth for complicity in the crimes.

They are sentenced to prison for between one year and four months and two years.
