The four Italian divers who went missing in the Maldives have been found dead, Italy's foreign minister announced, the AP reports.

It was announced last week that the divers were believed to have died while exploring underwater caves at a depth of 50 meters on Thursday.

The fifth diver was previously found dead.

The group dived at Vaavu Atoll, which is around a 90-minute boat ride from the Maldives' capital, Malé.
